It is one of the biggest upset victory of the season and probably the biggest win for the Charlotte Hornets. The team proceeded to trample the Cleveland Cavaliers in the latter's own turf, 106 - 97. And that's thanks to Jeremy Lin's Linsanity.

Lin started in the point guard position replacing Kemba Walker, the team's highest scorer, as he is sustaining an injury. The player's stats of the game included 24 points, eight assists and five total rebounds, according to At The Hive.

But Lin downplayed his stellar performance.

"Kemba, honestly is irreplaceable. We all know that," he said as shared by NBA.com.

Many sports analysts believe that with Linsanity seemingly back, Jeremy Lin will reprise his role as the starting point guard for the Charlotte Hornets for the next couple of games while Walker's sore knee heals.

In Walker's absence, Lin stepped up to the role he was given and did so in an explosive performance.

The latest Linsanity news claim that with his latest performance, Jeremy Lin might be able to earn a spot in Charlotte Hornets' starting five instead of playing off the bench. He was able to play the starting role earlier this season when Nicolas Batum was forced to the sideline a few times this year.

With Charlotte's win over Cleveland, Lin and the crew was able to break the 23 game losing streak to LeBron James. A record that has stood for six years.

In the last three games in which Lin played for at least 30 minutes, he posted an average 23.3 points per game, 5.6 rebounds and eight assists. He also shoots 44.8 percent on the field and 46.1 percent on the three point area.

The Hornets also posted a 3-0 record every time Lin plays at least 30 minutes. Sports analysts are positive that he can take full advantage of the role given to him and it might not be long before the sensational point guard will take primary roles in the future.
