'Steven Universe' Season 2 Episode 30 Spoilers: Steven's Watermelons And Lapis To Return?

Will Watermelon Stevens and Lapis return in the upcoming episode 30 of "Steven Universe" season 2? 

The latest spoilers for the new season 2 episode suggest the same.

There are speculations that the new episode will mark the return of one of the lead characters, Lapis, after being trapped in the Homeworld for around 5000 years.

Movie Pilot reported that the new episode will finally feature the reunion of Lapis and Peridot. Earlier episodes of the animated series featured the character's sour relationship.

But the latest spoilers claimed that Lapis and Peridot's history in the prison world will be explored. It is also rumored that Peridot will try to make up with Lapis for the riotous past and all the hard time she faced because of her.

While the news about Lapis and Peridot's fusion has not officially been confirmed, the teaser trailer for the series hinted at a new start between the two characters.

Further, Steven Wikia users claimed that Lapis has been portrayed angry in the promotional picture, due to her detestation for Peridot for the suffering caused by her.

"My theory is that it's possible that Lapis and Peridot has a bad connection with each other in the past," speculated user CookieFoxGirl from Steven Wikia Forum. "It is possible that she's still upset with Peridot by the events of Jail Break of being her prisoner and dragging her to earth. Peridot might forgive Lapis of the events of Jail Break."

More spoilers for the upcoming episode 30 of "Steven Universe" season 2 suggest that Steven will play a major role in controlling Lapis hatred and villainous nature against the Crystal Gems.

Cartoon Network also tease that Steven's watermelon creations will finally make a comeback, after disappearing in season 1 of the series.

It's been reported that Steven will be showcased trying to find his watermelons in the new episode.

Also, there are speculations that the Steven Watermelons will return with drastic changes in their behavior with remorse for the death of Baby Melon's death.

The release date for the season 2 episode 30 of "Steven Universe" titled "Super Watermelon Island" has not been declared yet since the show is currently on hiatus.
