‘Star Wars Battlefront’ Season Pass Rumors: EA Debunks ‘Death Star’ DLC November Release
The upcoming "Star Wars Battlefront" season pass has been allegedly detailed as all dlc contents were revealed.
However, EA was quick to address the claims on Reddit and confirmed on "Star Wars Battlefront" community that these details are "simply made up," Christian Post reported.
"Unfortunately, we have community members who like to stir the pot ahead of actual details," said EA community manager Mat Everett, a.k.a. Sledgehammer70.
He added, "While the Season Pass content is deep into development, the specific details have not been completely revealed. The material outlined by this Reddit user are simply made up."
According to the leaked details that has since been taken down as of this writing, the first "Star Wars Battlefront" dlc is said to feature two new modes called Invasion and Scramble. It will be released next month, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
The second part will be released by July and will reportedly feature new heroes Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian.
On the other hand, the final "Death Star" expansion will reportedly arrive later this year, WCCF Tech reported.
"Star Wars Battlefront 'Death Star' That's no moon! One of the most iconic locations in the Star Wars universe makes its debut in Star Wars Battlefront on November 12th, 2016," the anonymous leakster claimed on Reddit.
"What i do know is that there will be a new game mode that is a space related battle, reenacting the famous destruction of the Death Star as seen in the movie. This expansion pack will support all of the smaller game modes."
Previously, EA and DICE released the first free "Star Wars Battlefront" dlc that brought themed outfits, daily challenges and extra game modes for the popular Tatooine Survival map, according to PSU.
The most requested Tatooine Survival map adds support for Blast, Droid Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt and Heroes vs Villains multiplayer modes, and is called Raider Camp.
