As "Gilmore Girls" prepare for their reunion on Netflix, fans might have been wondering who among the previous cast members will be reprising their roles.

According to Mirror UK, original stars of the show Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson and Kelly Bishop will come back to reprise their roles.

Moreover, in the upcoming season of the series, there could be a possibility that Rory and Logan would finally end up in the altar and enjoy a happily-ever-after with each other this time around.

It was learned that apart from the said stars, 38-year-old Matt Czuchy (who played Logan in season 5 to 7) will also be reunited with Alexis Biedel (his love interest Rory Gilmore).

It can be recalled that in 2007, during "Gilmore Girls" last run prior to the announcement that a reunion is happening on Netflix, Rory hurt Logan so badly after she turned down her marriage proposal.

However, despite this update which might have made their fans excited for the revival of the series, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Czuchy's return not be full-time since he will only "make guest apearances."

In the meantime, CNN reported that Melissa McCarthy, who used to portray the role of Sookie James, "the super-talented chef sidekick to Lauren Graham's character, Lorelai Gilmore," will not be one of the stars who will make a comeback in the Netflix reunion.

"Superstar comedian Melissa McCarthy says she wasn't asked to return to the Netflix revival of 'Gilmore Girls,'" the report disclosed.

The outlet further noted that "McCarthy may be the best-known graduate of "Gilmore Girls," which premiered in 2000 and aired for seven years."

On the other hand, Kelly Bishop talked about how it is to be a widow in the anticipated season during an interview with TV Line.

"It's going to be very difficult," Bishop, who gave life to Emily Gilmore in the show's previous seasons, said about losing Edward Hermann who used to play Richard Gilmore prior to his death in 2014.

Amid the confirmation of the "Gilmore Girls" reunion on Netflix, there has been no word yet as to when its premiere date would be.
