Tori Spelling revealed reality show secrets, including how NBC supposedly dropped her former series.

According to a report from People, the mother-of-four talked about her VH1 comedy "NoTORIous."

"It was initially made for NBC," The reality star recalled. "[But] they picked up 'My Name Is Earl' instead."

"I remember getting that news at the Kentucky Derby with Tara Reid in the stall next to me. I was like, 'My life is really f---ed. It's not moving forward,'" she added.

The former "Beverly Hills 90210" star revealed how she was determined to make a career comeback.

"I literally was so sick of going on auditions and having producers say, 'She's really great, but we just can't get past the fact that she's Tori Spelling,'" she detailed. "It felt like I couldn't do anything right."

Some speculate that Tori Spelling's mediocre reality shows could be a reason why the actress is going through her alleged financial problems right now. According to a report from Radar Online, the TV star is being chased and sued by American Express for unpaid credit card bills amounting to $37,000.

Police reports stated how her last payment was due way back in August 2014. Around that time, the former Hollywood "It Girl" supposedly even tried to use her American Express card to make a $1,070 purchase, but the transaction failed to complete because of her unsettled payments.

Moreso, Tori is allegedly not very choosy about her projects, which could be a factor in her monetary woes. "She is happy to just be getting a paycheck," an insider said. "It's not huge money, but it's better than nothing."

The insider explained that the daughter of late Hollywood producer Aaron Spelling is living a lavish lifestyle beyond what she could currently afford.

"For most families, a $10,000 paycheck for just a few weeks' worth of work would be huge," the insider said. "But it's not for Tori."

"She can easily drop $1,000 at one toy store or department store," the insider pointed out.

As to whether her previous reality show will be followed up with a new one, Tori Spelling has yet to release a statement about.
