‘Minecraft: Story Mode’ Episode 5 Release Date Set Soon; Theories Indicate Reuben’s Resurrection
Gamers can't wait until Telltale Games unveils the next installment to its episodic games under the Minecraft franchise.
Video Games Blogger reported that "Minecraft: Story Mode" episode 5 release date could happen somewhere between Jan. 26 and Feb. 9 of 2016.
Given the track record of the independent video game developer unveiling its new downloadable content every two weeks or so, it highly likely that the fifth and final episode to the title will happen sooner rather than later.
The source noted that since episode 5 of "Minecraft: Story Mode" will be the season finale of the franchise, fans can expect its release date to take around two weeks longer to make that the rest.
Meanwhile, fans have already started speculating and conjuring theories for themselves regarding episode 5 of "Minecraft: Story Mode," wherein most of them revolves around the notion of whether Reuben will be resurrected in the latest installment, Minecraft Forum claimed.
"Episode 4 came out a few days ago, and it was crazy," a user by the name of Rainbow_Girl wrote in the forum. "They went to the Far Lands, they defeated the Witherstorm, Petra and Gabriel got better, Reuben died, and Jesse, Axel, Olivia, and Petra are the new Order."
"Seems like it would be the end of the series but it's not. There's still one episode left. Personally, I have some questions."
"Will they bring Reuben back somehow?"
To some extent, most of the replies from the fans in the forum indicated that it wouldn't be possible for Reuben to be brought back again and for some they wouldn't even consider having the character resurrected again.
However, there may still be a glimpse of hope for those wanting the character back in episode 5 "Minecraft: Story Mode" once it gets unveiled on its release date.
A fan who goes by the name of Ferry posted a theory of his/her own in the comments section of Video Games Blogger that rumors suggest that Jesse might be able to resurrect Reuben in episode 5.
As such, time can only tell whether these theories would hold water as the latest installment to Telltale Games' episodic game comes out.
