Husband Of Tori Spelling's ‘Lowest Point’ Revealed; Dean McDermott Desperate To Save Marriage?

Tori Spelling revealed her husband's "lowest point," saying Dean McDermott once became very desperate to save their marriage.

In an interview for Lena Dunham's Lenny Letter, the former "Beverly Hills 90210" star said that she "felt backed into a corner" when news of Dean McDermott's 2014 cheating scandal began circulating. Tori Spelling explained that her husband himself agreed to have his infidelity revealed on their reality series, "True Tori," as if to stop her from leaving him.

"He was at that point where he just was at the lowest point," the 42-year-old actress said. "He was in rehab, and he was just like, 'I f---ed up.'"

"'I'll do whatever I have to do to maintain our relationship,'" Dean McDermott supposedly told her.

According to Tori Spelling, her husband's approval to continue filming "True Tori," was very clear and was not forced by her.

"I didn't have a choice," she said. "[But] if he had been adamant that he didn't want to do it, I would not have done it. I would have respected that."

"[But Dean] just said, 'Do what you have to do,'" she narrated.

While the controversial couple seems to have moved on from the cheating scandal that almost ended their marriage, Tori Spelling is currently facing another ordeal. People recently reported about how the daughter of late Hollywood producer Aaron Spelling is being sued by American Express for unpaid debts amounting to $37,981.97.

Legal documents detailed how Tori Spelling's last payment was due way back in August 2014. Around that time, the actress supposedly even tried to use her American Express card to make a $1,070 purchase, but the transaction failed to complete because of her unsettled payments.

According to a report from Radar Online, Tori Spelling's husband supposedly already ordered her to start selling her possessions to get out of debt.

"Dean is putting down his foot and telling Tori she must sell off all off their junk that has accumulated over the years," an insider said. "There are more than three huge storage lockers piled to the top, and the rental fees are $1,000-$4,000a month."
