‘Harry Potter And The Cursed Child’ Already Has A Book Deal? Fans Desperate For Spoilers
Fans are desperate for any kind of "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" spoilers.
However, since it's a play, Potterheads from outside of London won't be able to see it.
Will JK Rowling make a book version of the sequel to satisfy fans in other parts of the world?
The Rowling Library, an online resource website for the "Harry Potter" writer recently published a report claiming that the script for the upcoming play will indeed see itself in print form.
According to the site, two publishing companies are already bidding for the rights to publish the two-part sequel.
However, JK Rowling will reportedly not be listed as the author of the book since the play had been written by Jack Thorne.
The play, however, received both the seal of approval as well as the all-important endorsement from the bestselling author herself.
Meanwhile, the sequel, which will feature the Boy Wizard's life 19 years after Voldemort's defeat, will open in Summer 2016 at the Palace Theatre in London.
According to "Harry Potter And The Cursed Child" spoilers, the golden trio will be appearing as older versions of themselves. Although this time, the story will revolve around Harry's second son, Albus.
As fans might recall, the last scene in the "Deathly Hallows" showed Harry giving the nervous 11-year-old a pep talk before he boards the train for Hogwarts.
While Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson expressed their excitement of the play, they also insisted that they have moved on from playing Harry and Hermione Granger respectively.
Rupert Grint, on the other hand, joked about not being called back to play his beloved character, Ron Weasley.
"I think they made a huge mistake in not casting me," he reportedly quipped to Hollywood Life during the recent Celebration of Harry Potter event at Universal Orlando Resort.
"No, no," he later laughed at the joke. "I think it's going to amazing, that it's going on, and I can't wait to see it."
