‘Quantico Season 1b’ Spoilers: Major Characters Won’t Return In The Show; Alex, Ryan End Love Story?
"Quantico" season 1b returns on TV with a big revelation as fans will no longer see some of their favorite characters, the latest spoilers revealed.
After the show's long hiatus, Heavy.com reported that there will be a significant time jump when the mid-season premieres in March.
Showrunner Josh Safran recently revealed that the season 1b will pick up three months after the bombing.
Christian Post reported that the first episode of "Quantico" season 1b will address all the unanswered questions as to what happened after the second bomb has been detonated, according to spoilers.
"Quantico" star Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, revealed that "not everyone made it out alive," according to Entertainment Weekly.
"There will be people who you know who won't be a part of this anymore. And that will affect Alex and her friends in a huge way," Chopra said.
Entertainment Weekly added more spoilers saying Alex will be in "bad place" in "Quantico" season 1b as she was traumatized by the 32 deaths from the explosion.
"Alex [Priyanka Chopra] has to wrestle with the fact - and so does Simon - that while they believe the bomb in the basement of the hotel had been diffused, she's the one who told Simon that he could take his hands off that trigger, and they're both going to be dealing with that emotionally," executive producer Joshua Safran explained the events to The Wrap.
Also, "Quantico" season 1b will be an emotional rollercoaster ride for Alex as she deals with her complicated relationship with Ryan. But she made it clear that Hannah will not get in the way, Design and Trend reported.
"How do they get through? They [Alex and Ryan] love each other, but they can't be together, because Alex is her own destruction," Chopra told Entertainment Weekly.
"She's so dark that anything good for her she runs away from. She's so afraid of being hurt that she hurts herself [rather] than to have someone else betray her. That's going to be her [down]fall."
"Quantico" season 1b episode 12 premieres on March 6 exclusively on ABC.
