Eva Marie Talks About Her Return To WWE Raw And SmackDown! NXT Move Just A Ploy?

Fans are well familiar with Eva Marie as she got signed to WWE back in 2013 and became one of the centerpieces of "Total Divas," which, however, did not pan out too well with audiences.

In an interview with RollingStone, Eva Marie explained as to whether her recent photo shoots entailed her return to "Raw" and "SmackDown" again.

"I mean, that is the hope," she explained. "I can tell you the photo shoot was definitely for 'Fastlane,' and that is the goal for sure. I think there needs to be a little bit more of 'All Red Everything' on 'Raw' and 'SmackDown.'"

Eva Marie went on to explain that, in terms of timing, she had to generate enough heat in NXT before being called up again to join the main roster.

She told RollingStone that being on the road and performing in front of crowds to build her heel character is huge.

When asked as whether her efforts in introducing her work in NXT to a wider audience before her timely return to WWE was part of her plan in the upcoming season of "Total Divas," the iconic female wrestler said that it was exactly her plan.

"Yes, exactly," she affirmed. "I was not the most liked cast member last season, so this season you're going to see how and why I chose to go to NXT and the reasoning behind going to hone my craft and build my character as well."

"I think it's good for people to see the difference between the two and how much work it does take to become a WWE Diva," she added.

Eva Marie even addressed her the skepticism that some fans had over her commitment to wrestling as opposed to her overall brand.

"As far as my commitment to being a wrestler, the proof is in the pudding," she told Wrestling Inc. "I asked to go back to NXT when I really didn't have to. I was already on the main roster, so I could have continued doing what I was doing up there."

After her endeavors with her injuries back in early 2015 and her efforts in becoming one of the known female heels in NXT, rumors have spread around as to whether or not the wrestler is returning to the main rosters of WWE.

As such, it is up to the fans to see whether there has been a positive change to Eva Marie's wrestling career as a WWE Diva once they see her return to the main roster.
