One Direction's "Made In the AM" was seemingly dissed by Zayn Malik again. E! Online reported about the former group member's interview with the former member, where he revealed several secrets from when he was still with the popular UK boy band.

Many of the group's devoted fans got shocked when Malik left the group right before their latest album was released last year. However, the group' former resident bad boy said he has been disappointed with the band very early on, specifically when he first realized how different their musical preferences were.

"In the early days it was crazy," he started. "There was like five of us sat in a room, trying to write a song."

As he struggled with the group's different direction in music, the singer admitted that he forced himself to hold back his creativity.

"How do you write a song from five people's perspectives?" he asked. "You don't know where you wanna take the music. So you kinda just go with whatever's going on."

Zayn Malik also claimed that he played along with everything they were told to do because he did not want to seem like a know-it-all. "I just didn't wanna be the person to say I was right, because who am I?" he pointed out.

Prior to the said interview, Billboard previously asked Zayn Malik about what he thought of "Made In the AM," which One Direction released very soon after his untimely departure.

His response raised speculations that he is possibly bitter at how quickly the group recovered from his resignation.

"I'll be honest," he said. "I thought the first single was quite cool [and] I heard the second single, [but] I didn't buy the album."

The group's mentor, Simon Cowell, also previously explained to Celebrity Yahoo that Zayn Malik probably just got tired of everything.

"They were 100% overworked," the former "X-Factor" judge admitted.

"Even though they were young, that was a grueling schedule and after a while, I could see they were exhausted," he added.

Despite the latest news, the rest of the boys from One Direction have been promoting their "Made in the A.M." album and have been doing numerous interviews to hype it.
