'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Jay Garrick's Life In Danger Due To 'Sick' Secret? Character To Die Soon?
"The Flash" season 2 spoilers reveal that Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and the rest of the STAR Labs team will travel to Earth-2 to help the new Harrison Wells save his daughter from Zoom who has her hostage.
Other spoilers also talked of what the team will encounter there.
Here is something The Flash and the rest of the guys do not know. One of their guys is keeping a secret, a "sick" secret.
Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) arrived in Central City in the first episode and although he had problems with Barry and others at the start, he slowly won their trust. However, it looks like he wasn't as transparent as they thought he was.
"Everybody has a secret on our shows and the secret that Jay has been hiding is that he is sick, and for anybody who thought that Jay was just square-jawed and heroic, he's actually been hiding this," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Access Hollywood.
"And I think for him as a character, it's really difficult to admit to being sick, to needing help, especially when you're somebody who is a hero," he added.
"But it gives Caitlyn/Danielle [Panabaker] something different to play because both times with Ronnie [Raymond, Caitlyn's fiancée-turned-husband], he was snatched right out of her life like, in an instant."
Kreisberg also said that Jay Garrick is dying but the good thing is she has Caitlin to take care of him.
"She can now galvanize all of her resources and fortunately, it's resources in her specialty -- in biochemistry -- so she's not going to let history repeat itself," the showrunner explained. "She's going to work night and day to figure out a way to save Jay."
The next episode will air on Feb. 9. Read "The Flash" season 2 spoiler below:
"Barry, Wells (Tom Cavanagh) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) journey to Earth-2 to rescue Wells' daughter, Jesse (guest star) from Zoom. Barry is stunned when he runs into Earth-2 Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin), but nothing prepares him for meeting Killer Frost and Deathstorm (Robbie Amell). Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jay has to take over the Flash's responsibilities when a meta-human nicknamed Geomancer (guest star Adam Stafford) attacks Central City."
