'Far Cry Primal' Pre-order Bundled With 'Valiant Hearts: The Great War' Exclusive To Xbox One
Microsoft announced that pre-order for "Far Cry Primal" Xbox One version will be bundled with a free title.
According to Major Nelson's announcement, players who will pre-order the standard edition on Xbox One will get Legend of the Mammoth pack which features three extra missions and "Valiant Hearts: The Great War."
Meanwhile, the apex edition will be bundled with the same giveaways plus "The Blood Shasti Club" as well as four enhancements packs.
However, players must note that the freebies are only applicable to digital versions of "Far Cry Primal" on Xbox One. And once pre-order has been confirmed, players may download the free Ubisoft title until April 14, Gamespot reported.
On the other hand, "Far Cry Primal" PC and PS4 will also get the three missions - "Duel of Beasts," "Hunt the Hunters" and "The Trapped Elder" - as a pre-order bonus without "Valiant Hearts."
As for its gameplay, Ubisoft recently released a 10-minute overview of the game that takes players back in the Stone Age era.
According to Geeky Gadgets, the main mission of the game is to "survive in a world where players are prey."
In addition, the game developer launched a press preview of the game last week ahead of its release. Accordingly, an alleged full game review has surfaced online.
But the said review might disappoint fans as the tester stated that "Far Cry Primal" is "the worst of all the 'Far Cries' ever made" and "too low quality for a triple-A game," Design and Trend reported.
The website added that the leaked review came from an unknown source that contacted YouTube user Parallax Live.
"No big things happen that compare to the kidnapping, deaths and betrayals of the series' previous entries. Beyond a few cutscenes, even the main characters are said to feel absent from the plot," the tester stated, according to Design and Trend.
"Bland story aside, the tried and true mechanics of 'Far Cry Primal' were deemed great."
"Far Cry Primal" is slated for a release on Feb. 23 for the Xbox One and PS4 followed by the PC version's launch on March 1.
