'Forza Motorsport 6' DLC: Porsche Expansion Releasing On March 1? Amazon Leaked Details
Leaked details from Amazon revealed that a new dlc will arrive for Xbox One exclusive "Forza Motorsport 6."
According to the retailer's now removed listing, the leaked dlc will bring new maps, multiplayer modes and mods kit.
"Explore the past, present, and future of Porsche in an all-new guided Porsche Anthology campaign experience, featuring 48 new events across all of the Porsche models featured in the expansion," the description reads on Amazon.
Christian Today reported that the extension pack will also introduce a total of 20 Porsche cars including nine different models. These models will include Porsche 1957 356A Speedster and 2015 Team 919 Hybrid.
Also, the listing stated about the debut of Virginia International Raceway race track on Xbox One that comes along with seven distinct configurations, all with night and wet versions.
With the said unannounced "Forza Motorsport 6" dlc, players may collect Porsche-exclusive mods and badges as they compete with Porsche-themed multiplayer leagues, hoppers and rivals. The events can earn 250 Gamerscore worth of Xbox Live achievements.
Amazon also listed the Porsche extension pack to arrive on March 1 and will cost $19.99USD.
Although Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios are yet to confirm this extension, Techno Buffalo suggested that the leaked details appeared to be legit. It noted that Microsoft previously announced that the company partnered with Porsche.
"We're excited to share that we are working together with Porsche and EA to deliver the Porsche experience to 'Forza Motorsport 6' players in 2016. We'll have more details to share in the future on the integration," according to a post on "Forza Motorsport" website.
For the meantime, while waiting for the leaked dlc's announcement, "Forza Motorsport 6" players may download the Alpinestars car pack which includes seven brand-new vehicles.
Released ahead of "Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona," the pack includes last year's 24 Hours of Daytona winner, the 2015 Ford #02 Chip Ganassi Racing Riley Mk XXVI Daytona prototype and this year's Ford Daytona prototype, according to Christian Post.
