Leighton Meester’s First Major Appearance Since Baby Arlo’s Birth Is For ‘Gossip Girl’ Reunion?

It's been five months since Leighton Meester gave birth to her baby Arlo and it looks like she's almost ready to get into the spotlight again. 

Is she up for a "Gossip Girl" reunion?

The "Gossip Girl" star was spotted by The Daily Mail going on a hike with her husband, Adam Brody, who is seen cradling their daughter as they walked to their car. 

This is reportedly the first time the actress was seen out in public with her baby since giving birth last Summer.

She also went on a girls night out with her friends, as evidenced in an Instagram post last November. 

In the photo, she was surrounded by actresses AJ and Ally Michalka, Madeline Zima, Davia Williams and producer Ginna Gammell.

She has since headlined a show in Los Angeles last month. 

Youth Heath Magazine reported that "The Blind Date" project was a huge success, selling out just a couple of days after the 29-year-old announced it on Instagram.

It looks like Leighton Meester is slowly easing into the limelight through music, but is she ready for the major leagues soon?

She previously told Idolator that she does plan on getting back into the thick of things after giving birth but it won't be in one grand event.

"I'm making plans to do more shows and mostly hanging at home," she previously revealed. "I've done a ton of traveling in the last year/year-and-a-half which is great, but sometimes it's nice to just chill. So spending a lot of time with friends and family. Besides that, I don't really know."

Meanwhile, her "Gossip Girls" co-stars Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford already implied that they would be open for a reunion for the highly-rated show. 

They are already working on their own TV shows but they still look back to their past characters on the popular show.

Another famous CW show, "Gilmore Girls," is already getting a reboot. 

According to Popsugar, Netflix is preparing to bring Lorelei and Rory Gilmore back on the screen. 

Is this also possible for "Gossip Girl?"

Leighton Meester may be focusing on caring for her baby right now but fans can expect her to come into the spotlight once again when she's ready.
