Tamar Braxton shared an Instagram post that has inspired her followers. Just last week, the host of daytime talk show "The Real" shared a photo from her White House visit, saying her interview with US First Lady Michelle Obama made her think about education a lot.

"What an amazing day," she started. "God is excellent and not in a zillion years did I think I would be at the White House to interview one of my new favorite people @michelleobama."

The 38-year-old songstress then revealed that she was so inspired that she has decided to finish her education. "I'm going back to school," she announced.

"The one thing I learned on this trip is even if you are already successful, it's never too late for an education."

Tamar Braxton then asked Instagram fans about following suit, even recommending Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. "Why don't you [guys] go back to school?" she wrote. "#FAFSA is free grant money for education. No matter where you are in your life, you can apply."

Many followers shared messages to encourage Tamar Braxton on her said decision.

"You are so right, you're never too old for an education," one commenter said, seconded by other fans.

"You go, Tamar!" another posted. "Education is key!"

A couple of fans even shared how Tamar Braxton's positive outlook has personally helped them.

"I love how you progress and still stay the same person," one follower shared. "You really inspired me a year ago when I thought I was going to end my life[...] but when I watched 'The Real' and 'Tamar and Vince' and heard your music."

"You truly inspire me to just go for it. I hope one day our paths meet," the follower wrote.

Prior to Tamar Braxton's Instagram post, Huffington Post previously reported about how the "Calling All Lovers" singer wants to be an inspiration to her fans.

"One of my other passions is talking to and empowering young women by teaching them about self-esteem, the importance of education and choosing a [career path] for their lives," she detailed.

"I really enjoy doing things like that so right now speaking and empowering young women and helping them to be confident is something I've found I truly love and want to do more of in the future."
