Floyd Mayweather, Jr Gets Crazy Offer To Un-Retire Making Rematch With Manny Pacquiao Possible?

It looks like a rematch between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao is still possible as there are parties who are willing to offer a handsome pay to Money in order to see him fight again.

"It's been crazy numbers that's been thrown at me of course, nine figures," he told BBC World Service Sport.

"You know, I've had money thrown at me from so many different countries... If I get the itch to come back, it really won't be for the money but I'll have to get paid, that's why the nickname is Floyd 'Money' Mayweather."

The first Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight happened in May last year where the American boxer won. The match, which was dubbed as the "Fight of the Century," gave the two fighters their biggest pay day in their careers. However, the bout itself was said to be underwhelming.

There has always been talks of a possible Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight rematch, mostly from Pacman's camp. However, Money, who sports a 49-0 record before retiring, insisted no one is contacting him.

"Everything that you guys are hearing that Michael Koncz has said and what [promoter] Bob Arum has said is totally false," he insisted. "Totally false. I haven't spoken to Bob Arum, I haven't spoken to Michael Koncz."

"And as far as people keep talking about Mayweather Promotions, I dictate and control what goes on with it. Leonard Ellerbe is the CEO but everything has to go through me and I have to put the green light on any and everything."

Even Bob Arum, Top Rank CEO and Pacman's promoter, hinted that indeed, a Floyd Mayweather Jr - Manny Pacquiao fight rematch might happen. The same goes with the Filipino champ's trainer Freddie Roach.

"The way they both spend money, maybe they will fight again," Roach said as reported by The Guardian.

"Manny is running for senator and that's going to cost him a lot of money."
