Fans are well aware of how "Five Nights At Freddy's" creator Scott Cawthon has had the habit of releasing his materials earlier than that of the announced release dates.

This was no different than with the early release of the latest installment to the franchise, "Five Nights At Freddy's World," which was unveiled on Steam a month earlier than its release date.

It was recently reported that "Five Nights At Freddy's World" was released on Steam this Jan. 21, 2016, which was almost a month earlier than its expected Feb. 19 release date, according to Kill Screen.

The source also noted that although the general reception to the game was positive, despite the large difference in gameplay style from its predecessors, "Five Nights At Freddy's World" garnered an 87 percent user review that was slated slightly below than its previous installments.

As such, Polygon reported that series creator Scott Cawthon took down the game from steam.

Apparently, he was not satisfied with the initial result of the game and promised that there will be more updates and new features to come when it is released for free on Game Jolt.

Cawthon elaborated in a post via Steam that he was too eager in releasing the games to his fans, which may reflect how the creator takes into consideration the opinions of the franchise's users.

"I got too eager to show the things that were finished to a community that I've enjoyed and respected for over a year and a half now- I'm sorry," Cawthon posted on Steam.

The creator even went on to explain that the game should have had more features than it initially had when it was released.

"There are a lot of features that this game should have had before release, features that I was told about, but ignored and didn't implement," Cawthon explained.

Despite the well-received ratings that its users have placed the game, Scott Cawthon nonetheless felt that it was too early of a release.

As such, fans can only expect greater things as "Five Nights at Freddy's World" returns to its listing on Steam.
