Timothy Bradley Warns Manny Pacquiao In Next Fight: 'I'm A Smarter Monster Now'
Not everyone is happy about the third Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley fight, as there are still some quarters who believe that the American boxer is not a deserving foe for Pacman's farewell bout.
The two fought twice before and Bradley was deemed as the underdog. However, he warned Pacquiao's camp that he has improved in the last two years since they last met on the ring.
In fact, Timothy Bradley claimed to have already crafted a foolproof strategy to come out on top in his fight against Manny Pacquiao.
"I already know what he's going to do before I even go into the ring," Bradley said of Pacquiao according to a report by Boxing News 24.
"I'm going to be prepared for everything Pacquiao does before I get into the ring. I fight the fight inside the gym, and then go in and fill the sketch in with colors. I plan on having a masterful performance on April 9th. I'm a smart monster now. I'm calm, cool and collective. The theme in this fight is called the 'log in the ocean.'"
The third fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley will take place on April 9, and the two boxers are already deep in their training.
The American thinks he already has an advantage over his rival, and he will target the part where Pacquiao is hurting.
"I think the answer would be-what would you do? C'mon lets think here," he said in an interview with Boxing Scene last week.
"You are a smart guy. What would you do? Would you target that shoulder? What would you do? I will do whatever it takes to win."
The two first met in 2012 wherein Bradley came out as victor in a controversial decision. They did a rematch in 2014 and Pacquiao was declared the winner.
Manny Pacquiao, for his part, said he is going for the knockout against Timothy Bradley in their April fight, which would be the perfect ending to his storied career.
"He can [only] be Timothy Bradley. I know his style," he told Rappler. "I'm trying to have a knockout in that fight. I'm not saying to predict the fight, but I'm trying to do my best so the people enjoy my last fight."
