New Blink 182 Album To Feature 5 Seconds Of Summer? Details Reveal Possible Collaboration
Pop-punk trio Blink 182 is recording their new album with 5 Seconds of Summer producer John Feldman.
And with the band's involvement with Feldman, many can't help but speculate that Blink 182 could also be collaborating with Australian rock band, 5SOS.
Blink 182 bassist Mark Hoppus recently snapped a photo of the band alongside Feldmann on his Twitter.
"In the studio for 14 hours today and drank so much coffee I'll never sleep again," he captioned the photo.
While rumors of a possible Blink 182 and Five Seconds of Summer collaboration remain in the dark, Travis Barker proudly talks about the band's new frontman, Matt Skiba.
"Just having someone like Matt who's in the studio every day is great, Barker, 40, told Upset Magazine. "You got to show up, that's the first part. It's just exciting."
And when asked about the release date, the drummer gladly shared his thoughts about the band's plan.
"I think summertime," he teased. "There's tentatively some plans to play shows during summer. Everything will come together and be revealed in due time. It's gonna be great."
John Feldman, 48, is an established producer who has production credits in songs accounting for more than 34 million albums worldwide. He is also the guitarist and frontman for ska punk band Goldfinger.
Apart from his work on the 5 Seconds of Summer albums, he also co-wrote songs for other groups such as We Are The In Crowd, Sleeping With Sirens, The Used, Atreyu and Panic! At The Disco, reports NME.
