'Legends Of Tomorrow' Spoilers: Hawkgirl To Get New Love Interest? Hawkman To Be Re-Cast?

"Legends of Tomorrow" went big in its latest episode by killing off one of the main characters. But spoilers claim everything is not all bad for Ciara Renee's character.

The time traveling squad just lost one of its aerial heroes after Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) was stabbed by main villain Vandal Savage. This leaves his destiny, Hawkgirl, without a partner.

With Hawkman out of the picture, will Chay-ara find a new romantic interest? The showrunner said they are not closing the doors for her.

"Does it mean that they're free to love another? We are doing a show in the 21st century, so she should have an issue with the idea of a guy saying, 'You're destined to only love me,'" showrunner Phil Klemmer said in an interview with Collider.

He added more spoilers about "Legends of Tomorrow" saying, "I do want to see her struggle with that, and she will have romantic options on the show. It's interesting to wonder, "Am I just killing time until Carter is reborn again?'"

As for Hawkman, he is not really dead.

Per his legend, he always comes back and finds a way to meet Chay-ara again.

"Once our Kendra has found love within Legends, I would like her to be confronted with another Carter from a previous life, just to test the theory," he added.

"Does free will trump destiny? I'm not going to give away who her love interest is, but for that guy, it's a super interesting story of knowing that you love this woman and knowing that she loves you back, but realizing that there might be a limit to that love."

In another interview, Klemmer confirmed the spoilers about Hentschel returning to future "Legends of Tomorrow" episodes. However, he will not be with the team.

"Before it's all over, we'd like to have Carter Hall back on the show even though he's dead in this current lifetime," he told The Hollywood Reporter.

The next "Legends of Tomorrow" episode is called "Blood Ties" and will air on Feb. 4.
