Premier League Transfer Rumors: Red Devils Give Up On Lewandowski, Rodriguez, Banega Deal?

Manchester United have been in the rumor mill for quite some time now as they continue to boost the current roster. However, new speculations emerged about the Red Devils giving up on some of its most prolific Premier League transfer proposals.
Reports claimed that Manchester United have been in negotiations to acquire James Rodriguez, Ever Banega and Robert Lewandowski. But it doesn't seem likely that the deals would push through.
Robert Lewandowski
The Bayern Munich striker is rumored to have been in negotiations with the Red Devils. Aside from Manchester United, Lewandowski has been the subject of several Premiere League transfer rumors, including a possible move to Chelsea or Manchester City.
On the other hand, there are reports linking Lewandowski to a possible Real Madrid transfer, which he is said to be eyeing for quite some time already.
James Rodriguez
Following the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Colombian ace player James Rodriguez has been the subject of several acquisition rumors. The 24-year-old footballer finally decided to settle with La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid.
While Manchester United are looking to acquire some top caliber players, money problems have become a serious hurdle to the club's plan of acquiring talents in order to form its dream team.
For now, the Rodriguez transfer report has been reduced to a mere rumor.
In an article with Sky Sports, journalist Guillem Balague said, "There is no chance of James going in January and Sevilla are saying they know nothing about Manchester United when it comes to Ever Banega."
Ever Banega
Sevilla, Banega's current club, dismissed rumors regarding a possible Manchester United acquisition.
According to Mirror, the Red Devils are working to strike out a deal in order to acquire the Argentinian midfielder but this deal will most likely be a failed acquisition.
Despite these rumors, some sports analysts say that Manchester United are still working out on a deal with one of the mentioned footballers. What's clear, however, is that should the Red Devils strike a deal with either one of the players, it will be considered a major Premier League transfer.
