Pokemon Distribution Event 2016: Nintendo Gives Away Mew For ‘Pokemon’ X, ‘Y,’ ‘Omega Ruby’ Via GameStop
Nintendo announced the list of Pokemons that will be given away through the Pokemon distribution event 2016 for "Pokemon X and Y," "Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire."
Next month, players of the said "Pokemon" titles will be able to get hold of Mew.
Players may redeem the legendary Pokemon on GameStop by simply bringing their Nintendo 3DS console at the retailer's local store. Employees will provide a code for players to download Mew, iDigital Times reported.
Before proceeding to acquire the code, players need to access Nintendo Network via a Wi-fi connection.
According to Latin Times, while connected to the internet, players should select Mystery Gift > Receive Gift > Get With Code > and enter the code in "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Alpha Sapphire," "X," or "Y" between the event dates to download the said Pokemon on the game.
It also added that all Pokemons that will be given away will be at level 100, in a Cherish Ball and will have a classic ribbon. Also, their original trainer "GF" will meet them at a "lovely place."
As part of the Pokemon distribution event 2016, players will receive a Wonder Card that can be viewed from the card album in mystery gift menu. However, players must note that the only 24 cards can be accommodated on the game cartridge.
In celebration of Nintendo's 20th anniversary, the gaming company announced that there are a total of eleven legendary Pokemons lined up to be given away throughout the year, GameRant reported.
