‘Dragon Ball Project Fusion’ Gameplay Revealed; Playable Characters Also Unveiled
The upcoming Nintendo 3DS exclusive "Dragon Ball Project Fusion" excites fans as more details have been unveiled including its playable characters and gameplay features.
So far, it was confirmed that Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, Krillin, Android 18, Gohan, Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Tien and Broly will be among the playable characters on the upcoming "Dragon Ball" installment.
As the title suggests, the game will allow players to combine different characters.
The latest V-Jump magazine revealed that characters from the anime, games and card games can be fused in "Project Fusion." Also, there is a possibility of "Dragon Ball Heroes" characters' inclusion in the game, according to the latest V-Jump magazine, Siliconera reported.
Attack of the Fanboy added that based on V-Jump magazine's latest issue, the game will not only allow players to fuse characters.
As reported by Saiyan Island, players can also fuse "different cities, islands, and other locales" to put their own stage as they can pick a city and put into a floating island if they want too.
With that said, "Dragon Ball Project Fusion" will bring a different kind of gaming experience exclusive to Nintendo 3DS players.
Additionally, "Dragon Ball Project Fusion" themed manga series is reportedly in the works as well. The project will bring "Dragon Ball Z" fighters in a different Universe. The manga will be out this year and will be published by Saikyo Jump.
iDigital Times said that the company will hold a drawing contest and the winner's piece will be featured on the manga series.
Previous V-Jump magazine issues first revealed that the game will be an RPG type. The magazine also unveiled a fusion between Goku and Brolly,
As for its release date, the game will arrive in Japan some time this year. Meanwhile release in North America is yet to be announced, which would possibly take place in the last quarter.
