In the upcoming episode, the cast was surprised with their sudden reunion with NeNe Leakes but some were apparently not thrilled.

Alleged bffs Cynthia and Kenya will stir up controversy as the latter vents out how devastated she was when Cynthia cut her out on her eyewear commercial. Over dinner, Phaedra started the conversation about Cynthia and Kenya being bffs but NeNe disagreed saying, "They are not bffs, they're not like that," according to Wetpaint.

Before the girls' conversation heated up, they asked Cynthia to weigh in on the matter. She said that they are still getting to know each other.

She added, "You just don't wake up and you're bffs overnight."

"She was a solid replacement, but she's not me. Even though we were divorced Cynthia was still waiting for me," NeNe Leakes interrupted, according to "Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 8 spoilers.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with E! News, Sheeree Whitfield talked about NeNe Leakes' surprise appearance on the show. She revealed that Cynthia kept the said come back from her co-stars.

"Cynthia kept that one definitely under wraps. No one expected NeNe to pop up. At the time, we were like, Did they run into each other at the hotel? The airport? We didn't know what was going on. She and Greg just twirled in," she told E! News.

Whitfield added that Leakes' return is for the best as she felt "a lot of things that weren't answered."

"A lot of animosity and bitterness back then, and I would love to see how we interact today," she added.
