Tom Clancy’s ‘Rainbow Six Siege’ DLC: ‘Operation Black Ice’ Confirmed To Bring Two New Operators?
The upcoming "Rainbow Six Siege" dlc contents have leaked ahead of its scheduled release next month.
According to Crossmap, the game's first dlc will be called "Operation Ice Black" which brings a new extension map that will highlight yacht frozen in pack ice.
Recently, the upcoming dlc contents leaked on Ubisoft Mexico Trailer, but was quickly taken down. However, some players managed to save a screenshot from the extension pack's gameplay.
As per Redditors' "Rainbow 6" forums, it was revealed that it will bring the first two new operators, Frost and Buck, from the eight upcoming Canadian Task Force operators, iDigital Times reported.
Reportedly, Frost is a defensive operator who has a defensive mechanical trap called "Welcome Mat" that incapacitates enemies. Buck, on the other hand, is an attack operator with an added under-barrel shotgun attached to his primary weapon accessible through his "Skeleton Key."
PlayStation Lifestyle added that the latter's weapon would be either a C8-SFW assault rifle or CAMRS marksman rifle.
The said two new operators from the upcoming "Rainbow Six Siege" dlc can be unlocked with the game's in-game currency renown or cash and will be free for season pass holders, according to VG247.
Frost and Buck operators will cost around 25,000 renown, as speculated by Christian Today .
Speaking of renown, Ubisoft announced that all players will get a 50% increase on their renown this week which prepares players for the dlc.
Aside from purchasing new operators, renown can be used to buy weapons, as well as attach other tactical and cosmetic modifications to them, VG247 added.
"Rainbow Six Siege" dlc will be first available to season pass holders on Feb. 2. It will go live for all players on Feb. 12 for $4.99.
