Empire Season 2 Spoilers: Lucious Lyon Set To Record In Prison? Terrence Howard Composes Song!
It seems that the magic of songwriting have seeped in from Terrence Howard's character Lucious Lyon to his own self. A new song titled "Hourglass" has lyrics co-written by him, which will be performed by V. Bozeman on Wednesday. And that's just a tidbit of the "Empire" Season 2 spoilers revealed as reported by International Business Times.
Howard, 46, co-wrote and co-produced "Hourglass" with Max Beasley. The lyrics had been described as a tragic love story, which he wrote at one of the lowest times in his life.
Fellow star Bozeman, who plays Empire-signed recording artist Veronica, revealed that she was asked by Howard to "translate that emotion for him." "Hourglass" was created in a lower register however he wanted it higher. According to her, going full-blast and exercising her vocal muscles like that took her back to church music. Vevo will upload the video on Wednesday, while the single will hit radio stations on October 5 as reported by Billboard.
Prior to the premiere of "Empire" Season 2, the original soundtrack album "Empire: Original Soundtrack from Season 1" was released and debuted at number one of the Billboard 200, selling at 110,000 copies in its first week. "What is Love" is also featured on the album track list.
So what's to expect now that "Empire" Season 2 spoilers have been appearing constantly? It is revealed that Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) will now try to set up a record label of her own after the failure of hostile takeover. Anika (Grace Gealey), Hakeem (Bryshere Y.
