‘Star Wars Battlefront’ PS4 Free DLC Contents All Live; Various Season Pass Detailed
The long awaited "Star Wars Battlefront" dlc is finally official for the PS4 console.
EA and DICE bring new additions including themed outfits, daily challenges and extra game modes for the popular Tatooine Survival map, according to PSU.
Going by the free dlc contents, the Tatooine Survival map now supports Blast, Droid Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt and Heroes vs Villains multiplayer modes, and is called Raider Camp.
New Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo has been added too. It is being said that these two characters are accessible on Hotch which went live last month.
Hoth was unlocked by players by completing Heroes' Holiday community mission last month.
In addition to "Star Wars Battlefront" free dlc, private matches, daily challenges and community events were introduced that go along with overall balancing tweaks on weapons and multiplayer modes.
"The introduction of Daily Challenges and Community Events. These are designed to rally the Community around certain goals and objectives, giving players the chance to earn credits and unlocks even faster. We'll have more news regarding Community Events and Daily Challenges in the days ahead," PlayStation blog wrote.
Apart from the said news on "Star Wars Battlefront," details about the upcoming paid season pass dlc has been revealed as well. There are a total of four extension packs that were announced to arrive this year and in 2017.
This March, "Star Wars Battlefront Outer Rim" pack will take players on a fight Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine
It will be followed by "Star Wars Battlefront Bespin" in Summer 2016 and "Star Wars Battlefront Death Star" in Fall 2016. The latter brings the popular location on the series saga.
Additionally, another extension pack will arrive early 2017. Details of the said pack are yet to be revealed.
Forbes noted that all the upcoming extension packs look promising but the $50 price tag is still too expensive.
