While a number of speculations in the past have claimed that it would be Mabel who will not make it at the "Gravity Falls" finale, a recent report pointed out that it would be another character.

It was noted as well that even Ford is not the real candidate to bid farewell together with the Disney XD animated series.

"Most fans say that Ford fits the bill nicely, that his past actions with Bill as well as hints in the new trailer suggest an untimely demise for our mid-season guest," Movie Pilot emphasized. "I'm here to say that though Ford's death does sound like a fitting way to end the show, there's a better character for the job."

Based on its report, the outlet appeared definite when it revealed that Grunkle Stan will be the "Ultimate Sacrifice" during "Gravity Falls" finale, which is also known as "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back the Falls."

Accordingly, there are numerous reasons why Ford could be the least likely to die at the end of the show's final season.

"How would Ford be that? He's only been in the show for half a season, literally a week or two for the Pines, and barely did anything since Weirdmageddon began," Movie Pilot stated. "Not to mention that his death would indeed hurt Dipper, but nobody else would be overly affected by it."

And as to why Stan is the most likely to become the "Ultimate Sacrifice" in the "Gravity Falls" finale, the site had this to say, "He's going to sacrifice himself for the kids, for his brother, for Gravity Falls because over the course of the show, he has been developing into a character who would be more willing to do that, and who would be missed the most."

Moreover, since "Weirdmageddon 3" talks about a supreme sacrifice, it can be expected from Stan especially that he "has proven he'd rather risk his own life and even go to jail if it mean helping his family."

Fans can catch the "Gravity Falls" half-hour program on Feb. 8, which is a prelude to the 68-hour marathon from Feb. 12 to 15, with a special commentary from show creator Alex Hirsch, AnimationMagazine.com shared.
