Several reports claimed that the 34-year-old actor could be wooing someone at present.
According to Perez Hilton, the story began circulating in the rumor mill when "Life & Style" magazine reported that the "Fantastic Four" star and Jennifer Lawrence "are supposedly dating."
Amid this news, the blogger appeared to be unsurprised as it pointed out that "this pairing isn't completely out of the blue since the A-listers have one very important friend in common - Chris Pratt."
"Nonetheless, we have a feeling this pairing could become legit since the Hunger Games starlet's BFF Amy Schumer is even excited about the match," Perez Hilton added.
Meanwhile, the source of the magazine revealed that Chris Evans and Jennifer Lawrence, who have been presumed as a dating couple, "just started seeing each other a couple of weeks ago. Only their closest friends know."
"They've only gone on two dates so far, but they have been texting each other and talking on the phone," the insider added. "They even had a pizza and movie date at Jen's place."
However, the dating rumors were shut down by a source of E! News.
"A source tells us that there is no truth to the dating rumors, and adds that Lawrence is 'happily single,'" the entertainment site dished.
