‘One Punch Man’ Season 2 December Release Date Impossible? Development Could Take Years
Since an entire series takes time to be created, a December release date for "One Punch Man" season 2 is too early, according to recent reports.
As per the rumor mill, it will be released a year after season 1 ended and this premiere could be some time between November and December, Crossmap reported.
Creator Yusuke Murata already confirmed that the sequel already entered production as he recently stated that he is "hard at work in making a continuation of the events from the final episode of season 1," as translated by Christian Post.
Since this news came out, some fans have considered the said "One Punch Man" season 2 release date as imminent.
However, fans should take into account that it usually takes 6 months up to 2 years for the next "One Punch Man" to be develop. With that being said, season 2 may come into light by 2018, according to TheBitbag.
In addition, Yusuke and his team are reportedly working on a limited budget for "One Punch Man" season 2, and they are known to be in detail when it comes to the series' animation, Design and Trend reported.
Also, the creators do not have enough data from the original source material (manga version). With that reason, season 2's rumored release date is really impossible at the moment, Anime Corner added.
Meanwhile, as for the season 2's plot, it will pick up right where it left off on season 1. On its first episode titled the "The Strongest Hero," Saitama will continue his bout with Boros.
The fight will be a tie, but Saitama will end the fight by unleashing his "super punch." The story will continue as he will face a Class A Rank 1 fighter named Amai Mask
But as the world awaits for the release date of "One Punch Man" season 2, the series will allegedly highlight Saitama and Garou's fight as the latter will be main antagonist based from the manga version, according to Youth Health Mag.
