Colton Haynes Hiding A Boyfriend? Actor Participates In Gender-Swap Amidst Sexuality Rumors

"Arrow" actor Colton Haynes has recently joined a gender-swap event with his co-star Emily Bett Rickards amidst several rumors about allegedly having a boyfriend and being frequently questioned about his true sexuality.

Reports claimed that the young actor had posed for several photos with Rickards while sporting a 50s inspired outfit.

Not long after the mini photo shoot, Haynes and Rickards later went on a gender-swap pictorial, wherein the two had switched their outfits, with Haynes wearing his partner's dress and Rickard's wearing his suit, as highlighted on Vanity Fair.

In the succeeding shots, reports added that Haynes also paired his dress with a wig while getting a smoke. Rickards on the other hand, was also said to be enjoying wearing a man's suit during the shoot.

While it obviously has nothing to do with the issues that he has been dealing with about his sexuality and being shamelessly accused of having a boyfriend, the gender-swap photo shoot was intended to deliver a message about sexual uncertainties.

"The interesting thing about the vintage dress we used is the cuts they used to use fit him so well," said Tyler Shields, who was in-charge with the shoot."

He went on saying, "It was when we were talking about shooting Colton in the vintage women's suit that the idea to shoot Colton and Emily in each other's outfits came up. I think it speaks a lot to the time we are in right now as androgyny is a two-way street."

Colton Haynes has been frequently rumored about having a boyfriend, not long after a controversial issue about him replying to a Tumblr user's comment wherein he was seemingly revealing something regarding his true sexuality made rounds in the headlines.

"Was it a secret?" said Haynes in response to the comment. "Let's all just enjoy life & have no regrets."

Amidst the hearsays, Colton Haynes did not hesitate participating into the gender-swap pictorial and even thanked the magazine for giving him the chance to do such a unique shoot.
