Release Date for Apple’s iPad Air 3 Set In March 2016? Specs and Details Discussed!
It was first rumored that the Apple iPad Air 3's release date was speculated to be within the first half of 2016.
However, news circulated that the latest tablet might actually be released sooner than tech-heads and consumers alike would expect.
Fans of the California-based multinational technology company, Apple, can expect that the iPad Air 3 release date will be somewhere in the early months of 2016, Value Walk revealed.
As such, respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who's been known to have a good track record when it comes to predictions regarding Apple's future devices, further speculated that the iPad Air 3 release date will be set on March of 2016, Mac World UK reported.
In addition, International Business Times claim that the rumor mill has recently churned out that the device will actually be unveiled alongside Apple's launching of the iPhone 5Se this year, a 4-inch smartphone with a form factor similar to the iPhone 5S.
Moreover, the speculated release date of the iPad Air 3 might also coincide with the unveiling of Apple's iPad Mini 4, Investor Place noted.
In line with the release date news, iPad Air 3 is reportedly not including the pressure-sensitive 3D Touch technology that was showcased in the iPhone 6s.
According to Apple Insider, veteran Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also proposed that according to research notes released by the KGI analyst, Apple might not be able to include the 3D Touch display technology once its iPad Air 3 hits its release date, due to production constraints.
Although, news circulated as well that the tech giant was indeed working on a next-generation 3D Touch displays that are scaled in proportion to some of its product line, which sport bigger displays, including the iPad line, Hexa News reported.
There were also speculations on what kind of processor chip would be used on the Apple iPad Air 3, once consumers preview the device on its release date.
As such, rumors circulated that the A9X seemed like the logical choice to be used to power the iPad Air 3 since the processor chip was also used in the iPad Pro, as stated by The Motley Fool.
