'Outlander' Co-Stars Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe Dating Off Cam In Season 2 Set?

There's no doubt that "Outlander" stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe look good as even fans wish they're together for real. It looks like their desire is coming true as rumors are rife that the season 2 actors are actually dating.

Productions for "Outlander" season 2 is still ongoing, which translates to more time for Heughan and Balfe, who play Jamie and Claire..

Now, according to the rumor mill, the more time they spend together on the set, the more people will know about their real score.

"Sam and Caitriona were taking a short break between scenes when I saw them off to the side, holding hands and Sam was even whispering in her ear," an "Outlander" extra told Celeb Dirty Laundry.

"She was laughing at whatever he said and well, they looked like an ordinary couple."

Just last week, Caitriona Balfe spoke of her friendship with Sam Heughan and how it helps them with their roles in "Outlander."

"We're not together. I'm sorry to break people's hearts." the 36-year old Irish actress said in an interview with E! Online.

"They like to try to maybe replicate the Claire and Jamie story. But I think it would be difficult for us to work together and be together."

Balfe added that their friendship is the reason why they are doing great in their job.

"It's funny," she added. "We've always said from the get go that we're incredibly great friends."

"And to have that friendship and that closeness and to be able to get along as we do on set, it's great that we're able to get along that well."

The release date of "Outlander" season 2 is yet to be revealed but fans can expect a more tensed and more exciting return as Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan's characters embark on a bigger mission.
