Miranda Lambert Makes Things Official With Anderson East; Acknowledges Boyfriend On Instagram
Miranda Lambert has finally made things official with boyfriend Anderson East after Blake Shelton's ex acknowledged their budding romance. The confirmation came via an Instagram post.
Lambert, 32, posted a photo on the photo-sharing site which she captioned, "Beanies Baby! #cher#deltadawn #boyfriendsbamabeanie #thesnuggleisreal #Cherhateshats."
The photo showed Lambert holding her two dogs as they braved the snow. She was wearing an Alabama Crimson Tide football team beanie, as shared by Life & Style.
The hashtag "boyfriendsbamabeanie" referred to her red and white head gear that also sported the word BAMA. The term is reportedly a short cut for Alabama, the state where Anderson was brought up.
The news of Miranda Lambert dating Anderson East came out in December last year and in January, the country singer seemed comfortable about opening up regarding her new found love. Early this month, Shelton's ex-wife also shared a photo with her boyfriend on Instagram.
It was a picture reportedly taken on New Year's Eve where the new couple got cozy as they snuggled while sharing a blanket. The photo came with the hashtag "#thesnuggleisreal."
Per Taste of Country, East is the first person Lambert dated since her divorce from Shelton last year.
One of Lambert's close friends said that Anderson is the coolest guy and that the singer "couldn't have picked a better dude to have fun with."
With the confirmation that Anderson East is indeed her boyfriend, everything looks promising for Miranda Lambert following a tumultuous year. After her split from Shelton last July, the singer was left pretty heartbroken.
On several occasions, she was not able to hide how upset she was about the breakup.
The Hollywood Gossip noted that the news about Lambert and East is "rather refreshing."
"Every other day it seems a new story surfaces about Miranda's ex Blake Shelton and his new girlfriend Gwen Stefani's 'wedding' or 'pregnancy,'" it said.
"Naturally we're happy for Blake and Gwen, but it's lovely to hear Miranda herself has found some happiness with Anderson, and frankly, the man is pretty stinkin' hot."
