'Outlander' Stars Sam Heughan And Caitriona Balfe's Onscreen Relationship Gets Real?

The fans of "Outlander" have been wondering if Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe are dating since their relationship onscreen has ignited.

According to new reports, Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have been trying to keep their relationship on the friend zone but it seems like it would not stay the same for too long. 

Celeb Dirty Laundry has recently revealed that the "Outlander" co-stars have been getting really well on and off screen. The stars have become close to each other, which is why many people assume that something is going on between them. Will they become a real life couple soon?

An insider claimed seeing them sweet during their break.

"Sam and Caitriona were taking a short break between scenes when I saw them off to the side, holding hands and Sam was even whispering in her ear," an insider claimed. "She was laughing at whatever he said and well, they looked like an ordinary couple."

Rumors have been arising that they might have started to feel romantic about each other while filming the second season of their show.

Meanwhile, Balfe told E! News that she and Heughan are just good friends.

"It's funny. We've always said from the get go that we're incredibly great friends," she said. "And to have that friendship and that closeness and to be able to get along as we do on set, it's great that we're able to get along that well."

When asked if they are in a relationship, the actress responded bravely, "We're not together. I'm sorry to break people's hearts. They like to try to maybe replicate the Claire and Jamie story. But I think it would be difficult for us to work together and be together."
