Wrestling fans were delighted to hear the latest news regarding the return of WWE superstar Daniel Bryan after it was reported that the iconic wrestler is back in tip-top shape to compete again in the sport.

It was recently stated by Forbes that fans can expect the return of Daniel Bryan anytime soon after a non-WWE specialist has given the wrestler the green light for his comeback to the ring.

"A neurology specialist at UCLA recently evaluated Daniel Bryan, where he underwent a battery of tests to determine if he is fit to wrestle again," as detailed over at The Wrestling Obeserver Newsletter. "Bryan was given the the green light to return to WWE."

"Unfortunately, as of this writing, Bryan still has not been cleared by a WWE doctor due to his concussion history."

It was further noted by Forbes that Daniel Bryan's return to WWE now lies squarely in the hands of the organization as to whether the same results that cleared the wrestler to compete again would be given by WWE Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon.

The source also stated that after a proponent development of a pending lawsuit against WWE regarding concussion related incidents in the sport and the critically acclaimed Will Smith film "Concussion" bringing in more focus to the issue, it seems that Daniel Bryan's return could hit a few road bumps ahead.

As such, fans could not help but speculate as to whether Daniel Bryan's return would be included as to one of the six WWE superstars who are also rumored to be returning to the ring, Cage Side Seats noted.

The source noted that the other five potential WWE superstars that might make their own return to the sport are Undertaker, Sting, Seth Rollins, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Goldberg.
