Jeremy Clarkson's New Show Only Available In Four Countries? Chris Evans Almost Quits 'Top Gear'

Last year, Jeremy Clarkson was terminated from BBC's "Top Gear" after the longtime host physically assaulted on of the show's producers. However, the 55-year-old presenter quickly found a new home with Amazon Prime where he's set to lead a new motoring show.

However, The Week reports that Jeremy Clarkson's new show will only be aired in four countries, specifically the U.S., Australia, the UK and Germany.

One fan tweeted Clarkson to express his disappointment that the upcoming show won't be avaible for viewing outside the U.S. and U.K., to which the host responded: "wrong."

While Clarkson has confirmed that the show will be available outside the aforementioned countries, he has yet to reveal where the show will be available.

The Mirror reported last year that Clarkson "is planning to broadcast the show from different venues around the world - rather than a set studio base in one location."

Meanwhile, BBC's "Top Gear" continue to experience difficulties with new host Chris Evans.

According to separate report by The Mirror, the Radio 2 host had become fed up with "meddling" BBC executives and threatened to quit the show, just six months into his three-year contract. Apparently, the host is frustrated over the "constant interference" from the BBC trying to revamp the show after Clarkson's departure.

"Sources claimed one of the reasons for him being driven to distraction' was BBC2 controller Kim Shillinglaw's perceived 'micro-management' of the show and reluctance to give him the same free rein enjoyed by ex-host Jeremy Clarkson," the publication wrote.

Both the BBC and Evans declined to comment on the matter, claimedThe Mirror.

Jeremy Clarkson's new show is rumored to be released this fall. Evans is scheduled to return to "Top Gear" on May 8.
