Katie Holmes And Jamie Foxx Dating Rumors Intensify; Actor Insists They're 'Just Friends'

Recent reports suggest that Jamie Foxx might be romantically involved with Tom Cruise's ex-wife, Katie Holmes.

According to E! News, the two A-listers have been spending a lot of together for the past year and a half. As the rumors intensified, the two kept mum about the subject, until the paparazzi caught up with "The Amazing Spider-Man" actor.

"Oh come on, you guys have been trying to get that to stick for three years!" Foxx said to paparazzi while walking back to his car. The actor went on to explain that they are "just friends," adding "That's all it is."

Rumors sparked after the two were photographed dancing together at the 4th annual Apollo in the Hamptons benefit in 2013. Foxx later told Entertainment Tonight that the rumors about his romantic relationship with Katie were "quite hilarious," explaining "because we simply danced at a chartiy event along with a lot of other people."

"I had Colin Powell on stage dancing [too]," the "Django Unchained" actor said in a separate interview with ABC News. "So they could have said me and Colin Powell were dating!"

You know how social media is now, they try to make a mountain out of a molehill," Foxx added. "That's our world we live in, you try not to Kanye it. I talk to [Kanye], you can't knock all of them out. You just keep moving."

Meanwhile, Katie Holmes revealed to More magazine that she doesn't plan on being romantically involved any time soon

"That's not something I want to answer," responded the actress when asked about dating. "I don't have a five or 10-year plan. I feel like I feel like I'm still a teenager in a lot of ways," Holmes said. "I do a lot of things I did then. I paint, I color. I cook sometimes. I still feel like a girl. I don't quite feel like a woman, maybe because I'm the baby of my family."

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are actually working on an animated project that is backed by Anthony Zuiker, the creator of CSI.
