‘The Voice’ Coach Blake Shelton Influences Girlfriend And Her 3 Kids To Dress More Country?
Gwen Stefani is known as one of the more fashionable music celebrities around. But "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton reportedly managed to convince his girlfriend and her kids to imbibe a more country vibe.
The former "No Doubt" singer shared on E Online that her style and design choices depend on where she is in her life. Although she still finds comfort in the familiar, the biggest change occurred before her eldest son, Kingston Rossdale, was born.
"I was in the middle of the Love. Angel. Music. Baby. album--that was an amazing style period," Gwen said.
"This is a lot more emotional record," she added, talking about her new studio album. "More about emotion and truth and honesty. That's where i'm at: I'm at an emotional place right now."
Recently, Gwen was spotted wearing overalls complete with a trucker hat, rather than her usual trendy look, according to Daily Mail. However, the former "The Voice" coach still managed to give a dash of glamour to her look by wearing large tortoise shell shades and a dark red lipstick.
Perez Hilton noted how Blake Shelton's casual country style seemed to have rubbed off on girlfriend Gwen Stefani's fashion sense.
"Gwen has consciously or subconsciously become just a lot more country since hooking up with the 'Boys 'Round Here' singer," the article claimed.
"People don't wear trucker hats much anymore, unless those people are hardcore God fearin' country folk, or like, actual truckers. So Gwen wearing one is significant," it added.
According to a report in MSN, not only did Blake Shelton's girlfriend change her style, "The Voice" coach is influencing her kids as well.
"Kingston Rossdale, 9, wore a hat and an athletic outfit like Blake sometimes sports," it said.
"His younger brother Zuma, 7, who's also said to be a fan of hunting, looked jaunty in camouflage-patterned leggings and a long-sleeved camo-print shirt, the attire was chosen by Blake. As for little Apollo, almost 2, looked like a mini Shelton in tiny cowboy boots and camo-print."
