'Mass Effect: Andromeda' To Take Place In A Different Galaxy? Rumors Tease New Characters And Maps!
"Mass Effect: Andromeda," the highly-anticipated fourth installment of the franchise has been all the buzz since it was rumored to release sometime this year. Although Bioware is keeping the project under wraps, details about the game have already leaked.
According to XBox Freedom, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will allegedly release in the q4 of 2016, but may be come out earlier given Bioware's history of making the release dates of their games "flexible."
The game will be set in a different universe and will feature new characters. It is also rumored to be four times larger than the maps of the previous installments.
"We knew we wanted to start with a foundation composed of the best parts of any 'Mass Effect' game: exciting new worlds to discover, great characters, and intense action," reads an official press release from Bioware. "At the same time, we clearly wanted to expand the definition of what you should expect from a 'Mass Effect' game."
Cameron Lee, a developer at Bioware, tweeted that he has already played with "Mass Effect: Andromeda," but unfortunately left out juicy details about the game.

When one user asked how the game was, he responded, "was fun and he got to shoot things in the face."
Based on Lee's comments, it seems that Bioware is really putting a lot of work on the fourth installment. Lee even added that he expects some gamers to "hyperventilate" when the game finally comes out.
Meanwhile, some fans are worried about how the game might turn out after "Mass Effect: Andromeda" senior development director Chris Wynn exited the project midway through production.
However, Bioware reassured fans that Wynn's departure won't have a negative impact on the game's development.
"Chris was a great member of the team," Bioware said in statement published Gaming Bolt. "We want to thank him for his contributions and we wish him the best in his new adventures. Development of Mass Effect Andromeda continues to move full speed ahead at BioWare Montreal, Edmonton and Austin."
