‘Gravity Falls’ Finale To See Which Pines Is Sacrificed; ‘Weirdmageddon 3’ Not Yet The End?
As Feb. 15 draws nearer for the highly-anticipated "Gravity Falls" finale, there have already been buzzes as to who between Dipper and Mabel would make the so-called "greatest sacrifice."
It can be recalled that in our previous report, several fans aired their own theories about the upcoming episode entitled "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back the Falls" via an article posted on Movie Pilot.
"I feel like Mable is gonna die, for some reason," Jasmine Garcia wrote. "Like maybe she'll sacrifice herself for everyone, because she's the one who started it all. Maybe she feels guilty?"
The said reader further commented, "Idk I don't want her to die, but I do feel like it may be a possibility."
She, however, pointed out that it could also be Dipper who will die during the finale of "Gravity Falls" season 2especially that "he loves her too much to let her go on her own?"
Meanwhile, according to Movie News Guide, "There are plenty of speculations surrounding the death of a major character in the upcoming series finale of 'Gravity Falls' but Hirsch remained evasive when this particular issue is brought up."
Amid these rumors about "Weirdmageddon 3," it was pointed out that show creator Alerx Hirsch "is also vocal about not totally closing his doors" to the Disney XD series.
"He ensures fans that this is not the end of their adventure yet," the report divulged. "However, he and the whole team are definitely going on their well-deserved vacation before they start working on new projects and before they disclose any further information about the future of "'Gravity Falls.'"
It can be noted that at the end of 2015, Variety disclosed that the animated series' final episode will be aired on Feb. 15.
The "Gravity Falls" finale was still written by Hirsh and directed by Stephen Sandoval.
