Did The New 'Orphan Black' Teaser Promo Confirmed [Spoilers] Is Dead By Season 4?

This is probably the kind of "Orphan Black" season 4 spoiler the BBC TV series' fans would not want to confirm.

The critically-acclaimed show starring the brilliant Tatiana Maslany released a new clip thanking its fallen characters. It was a nod to those who lost their lives - from the clones to other main characters, even Helena's pet scorpion.

It was a heart-warming tribute except that it ended thanking Delphine, too.

As fans can recall, the season 3 finale of "Orphan Black" ended with Cosima's monitor, played by Evelyne Brochu, being shot by an unseen suspect. The last episode did not confirm nor deny that she is indeed dead.

There are hardly any spoilers for season 4 of "Orphan Black" particularly about Delphine.

In an interview last June, series co-creator John Fawcett said Delphine's shooting is a testament that "happiness sometimes isn't as dramatic as tragic love stories." He also wanted to keep the fans puzzled about her faith.

"I would love to say yes or no, but this is 'Orphan Black' and I don't want to say one way or the other," Fawcett told Variety.

"We wanted to leave it in a hanging cliffhanger, so is she dead? Is she alive? I want the audience asking those questions."

Executive producer Graeme Manson also wants to keep it mysterious.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he played coy when he answered a question saying, "I don't know. Did you see her die?"

"Orphan Black" season 4 is expected to be released this April 2016. Accordingly, fans can expect stronger enemies, new clones, Cosima's declining health, and the fate of Helena who is also not in a comfortable situation.

Fawcett said the fourth season of "Orphan Black" will deal heavily with Neolutionists.

"They've been through slaughter just to fight their way through these factions and now they've discovered that there's one real force behind it all," he told TVLine back in June.

"It's doubling back to the very beginning and the first face we saw of Neolution, which was the sort of pop-culture Dr. Leekie face. That philosophy appears to be far more deep-rooted than we've known so far. That's the journey we're going to go on next season."
