Austin Mahone And Becky G No Longer ‘Friends?’ No Chance Of Getting Back Together?

When Austin Mahone and Becky G broke up last August, fans and shippers still held out hope that they could still get back together someday.

Hope further grew when the pair started "flirting" with each other on Twitter. That hope seemed to be short-lived, however.

Hollywood Life recently noticed that the former couple seems to be throwing shade at each other on the microblogging site.

The passive-aggressive tweets started when the "Shower" hitmaker tweeted, "Honestly, I can't be mad... I may have to tip my hat."

Her followers seemed to think that she was directing the statement to her ex-boyfriend. Suspicions further grew when the "Dirty Work" singer fired back with his own response.

"Don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happened," he posted.

Not to be outdone, the "Break A Sweat" singer followed that post up with, "Throwing shade like it's sunny."

Although it's still unclear if the tweets were meant for each other or not but with their recent breakup, it seems that the possibility is very likely.

This isn't the first time that the "Lovin' So Hard" singer uploaded suspiciously shady posts on social media. Just a few weeks after Austin Mahone and Becky G broke up, the latter posted a meme that followers thought was directed at the former's new girlfriend.

The "Break A Sweat" singer's Instagram post gained so much attention that she had to clear up with her followers that she didn't direct it at her former boyfriend.

"When people are being so extra," she later posted. "You can't be so quick to assume, chill. It ain't who you think it is."

The 19-year-old Texas hunk had been linked to up and coming singer, Brie Angellina, whom he reportedly flirted with on Instagram late last year.

Austin Mahone and Becky G started dating each other last summer, with the teen heartthrob telling the media that it was his first real relationship. They broke up just a few months later but reportedly chose to remain friends.
