'Prison School' Season 2 Release Date Pushed Ahead? Kiyoshi To Discover Council's Dark Secrets?

The latest reports of the "Prison School" season 2 tease that the release date of the anime series has been delayed.

Director of the series, Tsutomu Mizushima, recently teased about the update for the season 2 of the anime series through his Twitter account.

Famous author Naoyuki Uchida praised Tsutomu for the brilliant season 1 of "Prison School" and asked about the possible release date of the second season.

Mizushima tweeted back via his social media account, which hinted that the upcoming season's release date has been pushed further.

"A second season may not be possible at the moment, even if I want to produce one," Tsutomu replied as reported by Youth Health Magazine.

Further, it was speculated that season 2 of "Prison School" anime will make a comeback in September 2016 after the huge success of the manga version.

But the speculations suggest that the reason behind the delay in the release date is due to the director's involvement in the creation of another anime series, "Shirobako," KpopStarz reported.

It is rumored that Tsutomu's schedule is completely packed up for the next few years, which led to speculations that "Prison School" season 2 has been delayed until further notice.

Moving on, season 2 of the anime series is speculated to center around the adventures of the main character, Kiyoshi Fujino, at the boarding school.

Some speculations also claim that Kiyoshi will discover all the dark secrets of the student council in the season 2 of "Prison School."

Also, the spoilers suggest that Fujino will combat with the Shadow student council to destroy their evil plans for the girl students at the boarding school.

My Anime List claimed that the anime series is based on Tokyo's all-girls boarding school, Hachimitsu Private Academy, with five boys, who secured admission only on the merit basis.

Earlier, When-will.net reported that the season 2 of "Prison School" was rumored to be released by fall of 2016, but now it seems that fans would have to wait longer until 2018.
