James Franco's Instagram Goes Viral; Dating Miss Universe 2015 Winner? Pia Wurtzbach Speaks Up!
Following James Franco's viral Instagram post where he expressed his "love" for Miss Universe 2015 winner, Pia Wurtzbach, rumors saying that the two are dating cropped up.
Last December, actor James Franco took to Instagram to share his appreciation for Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtbach.
"I love the Philippines!!!! Love 2 @missuniverse," James Franco wrote on his Instagram, along with a collage of his and Pia Wurtzbach's photo.
The Miss Universe 2015 winner, who admitted she had a crush on the actor before he posted the photo, replied: "I LOVE YOU MORE!!!"
This online and very public flirtation have left fans wondering: Could James Franco and Pia Wurtzbach be dating? In an interview with Hot 97, the Miss Uinverse 2015 winner addressed the dating rumors.
"No," Pia Wurtzbach said on whether or not James Franco asked her out on a date. "That was (just) on Instagram, and you know, it's a nice (gesture)."
Asked whether or not other celebrities have asked her out on a date, the Miss Universe 2015 winner admitted it was harder than she thought it would be to actually find one.
"You know what, no, and I'm quite surprised myself," Wurtzbach laughed. "(I thought) 'Shouldn't it be easier for me now to meet somebody and go out on a date?' But then, there's nobody. I don't know what I'm doing wrong."
"People are sending me DMs (direct messages) to say that I'm their idol and maybe some bashers here and there but I haven't received anything from like a guy asking me out."
The DJs interviewing Pia Wurtzbach went on to say that maybe James Franco is taking his time, planning out how to ask her out.
"Don't give me false hopes!" Wurtzbach told the interviewers, laughing.
Despite being single, Pia Wurtzbach said that she's completely happy with everything going on in her life.
"I'm not looking, but if a guy comes along and we connect, then I'm open to that," the beauty queen told Fox News. "But if not, I'm OK, because it would be unfair for the guy anyway ... I will be so busy. I don't want to be in a relationship where I can't invest time into it."
Aside from James Franco, Pia Wurtzbach admitted she also has a crush on Chris Evans, Seth Rogen and Channing Tatum.
