Dakota Johnson Honors Jamie Dornan But No Word On Boyfriend Matthew Hitt

Dakota Johnson gave tribute to Jamie Dornan after receiving the People's Choice for Best Dramatic Actress for her role as Anastasia Steele in "Fifty Shades of Grey," but she didn't thank ex-boyfriend Matthew Hitt.

Does that mean reconcilation for Dakota Johnson and ex-boyfriend Matthew Hitt is not in the works?

When she received the award, where she almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction, Dakota Johnson said in her speech, "Thank you so much, to the fans. This is really insane. I was just excited to even be nominated."

"You guys have completely rocked my world and changed my life. I am so incredibly grateful. Thank you for supporting our movie. Thank you to everyone at Universal, Sam Taylor-Johnson, E.L. James, Jamie Dornan. I couldn't have done it without you. That's it. I don't know. Bye. Thank you!"

Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are reprising their roles in the sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker."

"It's quite exciting," she said of signing on for the sequel. "There was a moment of being afraid, because I didn't know what it was going to be like. I had an experience with Sam [Taylor-Johnson] and then that all went away. Now I'm excited."

Sam Taylor-Johnson was replaced by James Foley after the direction and the author, E.L. James, reportedly could not see eye-to-eye on the overall vision of the film.

"I think James is a talented filmmaker. How often do you get to reconvene with the same people and have a different spin?"

Dakota Johnson and ex-boyfriend Matthew Hitt split late last year after getting back together a few weeks when the "Fifty Shades of Grey" came out on Valentine's Day 2015.

Dakota Johnson confirmed the split with Matthew Hitt to Ellen DeGeneres when she said that she's not dating anybody.

"I guess they're scared of me," she said. "They either love me or they're running for the hills. Mostly running for the hills."
