Pia Wurtzbach Shrugs Boyfriend Possibility; Miss Universe 2015 Speak Up About Relationships!
Pia Wurtzbach shrugged off boyfriend possibilities in a recent interview. According to a report from The FilAm, the recently proclaimed Miss Universe 2015 spoke up about relationships and why it is currently not within her priorities.
The 64th Miss Universe title holder was asked about her "lucky guy" while at an event with the Philippine Consulate earlier this month.
"I'm not thinking about that right now," replied the 26-year-old actress turned beauty queen. "There's no lucky guy. Bigger things are in store for me. And I have no complaints with that."
Pia Wurtzbach explained how possible romantic relationships need to be put on hold during her reign as Miss Universe.
"The problem with me is when I fall in love, I tend to give my 100 percent to it," she admitted. "That can't happen right now."
"Everything will have to wait. I'm so sorry, guys. This is my boyfriend right now," the Filipina beauty said while holding her crown.
However, the interview took place around the time that Pia Wurtzbach's rumored boyfriend announced that it is his "priority" to get married this year.
During an event reported by Manila Times, Philippine president Benigno Aquino III revealed that he plans to get married as soon as his term ends this June 2016. The 55-year-old bachelor and the current Miss Universe have been linked to each other since early 2015.
"When Mr. Tony Meloto was introducing me, I thought he was going to say 'eligible bachelor,'" president Benigno Aquino said at the start of the event. "I intend to change that status come July 1."
"Meaning, that will be the priority," he revealed, causing members of the audience to cheer.
Even though there has been no confirmation if he is indeed Pia Wurtzbach's boyfriend, the two have supposedly come to a "mutual understanding" with regards to their real relationship.
