'Avengers: Infinity War' Spoilers: Russo Brothers Hint 67 Main Characters In The Movie?

"Avengers: Infinity War," which is the most awaited upcoming movie of Marvel Cinematic Universe, is scheduled to be released in two parts by 2018 and 2019. The latest spoilers of the film reportedly indicates a huge cast list with 67 characters on board.

The next installment of "Avengers" is quite a big plot hence, is split into two parts. It will be managed by not just one, but two directors, in the person of Joe and Anthony Russo.

According to recent "Avengers: Infinity War" spoilers, the directors declared that they will have a huge cast list.

"We have so many characters we're dealing with. We're breaking ground on Avengers: Infinity War. We have a board with 67 characters on it," noted the directors, as reported by Crossmap.

But it seems that the directors were being metaphorical about the number.

"We were being figurative when we said [67 characters] and people took it as literal but there's a lot of characters," said the Russo brothers during special show of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," as reported Moviepilot.

"Avengers: Infinity War" spoilers have led people around the world to yield a list of possible characters that will be appearing in the movie. Around 30 of the potential characters from the list include Marvel's major players, Guardians of the Galaxy and the Defenders from Netflix shows, according to Comingsoon.net

"Infinity War is meant to be the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe up to that point. It's very ambitious in its scope, it wants to take everything that you've seen before and coalesce into some kinda of climactic ending. It's complicated, ambitious storytelling...We're not talking about lead characters, just people that make an appearance," clarified the Russo brothers.

Thus, there is a high possibility that most of the characters will be merely appearing and may not be in the lead role.
