Michael Fassbender and his girlfriend Alicia Vikander are not only a good-looking couple they're also a certifiably talented pair.
"The Danish Girl" star and her beau have both received nominations from the Academy Awards. The "Steve Jobs" actor couldn't help but praise his talented girlfriend for her achievement.
He told Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell at the recently concluded Golden Globes Awards that he was "very proud" of the Swedish actress and would like to spend more time with her. The couple was scheduled to go to different places after the event.
"She heads back to Vegas and I head back to London," the "X-Men: Origins" star revealed. "But hopefully we'll get a minute together. That would be nice."
With such busy schedules, could Michael Fassbender still have time to consider his girlfriend Alicia Vikander as a potential wife?
They were rumored to have broken up last September. However, Gossip Cop was quick to discredit the report made by US Weekly. They had not broken up after nine months together, the site clarified.
Vikander herself told Vogue that she felt hurt with the speculations of their split, as reported by The Independent.
"I always believed there must be some truth to the stuff you read - but I learned," she said at the time.
As if to prove the rumors wrong, the couple sat together at the Golden Globes, where Vikander received double nominations for Best Lead Actress in "The Danish Girl" and Best Supporting Actress in a Drama in "Ex-Machina". Fassbender, meanwhile, was nominated for Best Actor for "Steve Jobs."
Though they didn't display any PDA during the event aside from throwing loving glances at each other, they didn't hold back at a Golden Globes after party later that night.
People reported that they held hands as they waited for their car to arrive at the West Hollywood's Sunset Tower Hotel.
A witness reportedly told the site that Michael Fassbender and his girlfriend Alicia Vikander took selfies near the bar, adding that they "were huddled close and seemed to be happy and in great spirits."
